Electronic Medical Records

Claim back your records! Most adults today have lived in more than one city and visited more than one doctor, dentist, pharmacist, etc. Medical records are scattered all over the place. Why shouldn't your records be in one place? Anywhere you go, they go! In this century, we travel globally and domestically more than any generation before. We live active extreme lives. When we need medical help we are not likely to be around our neighborhood. Thus we need mobile medical records.

Safety
In the medical field, information saves lives. Lack of medical history can lead to death. There are no excuses left for the medical world not to modernize and save lives.

From Birth to Death
A child's birth certificate starts their records. Every shot, visit, and ailment is recorded somewhere. Now with a medical card all of an individual's records are in one place. Everyone should own their medical records. We worry about privacy. Where is the privacy if all our records belong to our providers. Our records should belong to us. We should control our records!.

Company IT Help Desk

Employees of large companies are required to change their passwords to their computer login every 60-90 days. Employees begin to forget their passwords resulting in IT staff having to constantly reset them. As much as 80% of IT help desk calls are due to password problems.

C-Verse's PERC smart card product solves this problem. Employees can use the card to login to their computer. When the card is plugged into the computer they are asked for a PIN number much like an ATM machine. The employee's password/PIN never has to change. This removes an IT department's need  to manage password resets, saving significant time and money. The computer access is also now more secure. If the employee loses the card it can be deactivated immediately across the enterprise. Even if someone finds the card before deactivation, it is useless without the PIN number.

City and Local Government

First responders are made up of professionals from several different organizations such as hospitals, doctors' offices, private ambulance companies, police departments, and fire departments. Currently, the identity and capabilities of an individual are not instantly verifiable, therefore the safety of those injured is compromised by people wanting to help, but lacking the capabilities and credentials to do so (ie. Hurricane Katrina), or by people with malicious intent, such as terrorists.

Local government entities responsible for emergency preparedness must ensure the safety of the public. C-Verse's FRAC smart card product addresses the specialized needs of first responders. First responders can use their card to login to their computer, creating much more secure access. If an employee loses the card it can be deactivated immediately, and is deemed useless without the PIN number. Also, the capabilities of an individual can be quickly obtained by incident management personnel, making emergency response and victim treatment safer.
